South Lake Tahoe / Coachman Hotel

Back from a recent trip to one my favorite places on earth!! South Lake Tahoe. This place will always have a super special place in my heart...always. As it is where I got hitched!

This trip was super quick. My husband will soon be starting his firefighter academy and there will be no trips/ getaways on the horizon (sad face, heavy heart) so we planned something to get us through the rest of the year.

I've heard a lot about Coachman Hotel and so when I knew Tahoe was our destination I started researching. Reminded us a lot about Timber Cove (see previous post) so naturally we booked our night there. This is going to sound silly but my husband and I are both really into Chet Faker so if a hotel jams out to his tunes WE'RE THERE! We can't wait to go back. Also, if your not convinced via photos; know this - complementary s'mores every night!!!!!!

What our day and a half looked like:

Sunday
Arrived around 11am: went straight to the lake- rented paddle boards and paddled through the lake. Which was amazing. Lake Tahoe is so beautiful.

4pm check- in: Showered, got dressed then went for dinner at California Burger (so hungry). Walked around Heavenly and did a little shopping.

6pm headed back to hotel: hung out in the lounge area/ bar. Had a couple drinks, played corn hole and waited for our s'mores.

930pm: Got dressed again since it got slightly chilly and  went to play at the casinos. I played the penny slots (I'm not a risk taker when gambling money) and my husband roulette (risk taker when gambling money).

Monday:
830am: Coachman continental breakfast and coffee

930am: Hiking - Rubicon Trail which was so beautiful!

1130am: Headed back to hotel for check out and quick shower.

1pm: stopped at Verde Mexican Rotisserie - SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I had the chicken rotisserie torta- ZERO regrets.

130pm: Headed back home.
