plan for the unexpected

A concern while getting dressed in the am is...will this look alright till night. For example, your running around all-day doing errands then something unexpected happened like your friend wants to meet for a casual drink or food or coffee or movie and wine, whatever. You have no time to get home and change. Are you dressed cool enough to impress? Some of us secretly plan for those unexpected meet ups. Like having an extra pair of shoes in your car, or a light jacket to layer, or hairspray, or even self tanner. You just have to be prepared for the unexpected. Start packin' your 'unexpected' bag people!

 For me, this sweater dress is perfect for those unexpected meet-ups. Of course, while out running errands I'm most likely in flat sandals or sneakers. But since I am prepared (maybe because somewhere along the lines I texted a friend saying "today is my day off"), I have an extra pair of shoes to give me that right amount of I've-been-running-errands-allday-and-still-look-awesome look.
