Working in a place that requires "business casual attire" is very ambiguous in my opinion. 

What is business casual anyway? 

I mean really, that phrase is almost as annoying as "I'm sorry to inform you" 

My job in particular allows employees to wear leggings but not jeans, well depending on the department! 

Either way, annoying and odd.

I then have to remind myself how much I love fashion challenges.
If your on the same boat as I, the best advice I can give you is have fun with what you can wear.
Try to challenge yourself by stirring away from wearing leggings or sheer button up shirts or anything that you are not allowed to wear.
Another thing you can do is mix prints or just wear one print piece.
I personally think that wearing prints look fun.
